Welcome to the Halley's Camps March newsletter! We are now counting down the weeks until the opening of walleye season - it will be here sooner than we think! Everyone with reservations this summer at either our lodges or our outposts should now be finalizing their travel plans. Remember that anyone travelling on international flights are now required to posess a valid passport! Travellers crossing our shared border by land will not need a passport for the 2007 season, but do need to bring photo ID and proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate.
If you don't have reservations but are still interested, it is not too late! We have a few good spots still available at a variety of our locations. Give us a call at 1-800-465-3325 and let's go fishing!
As always, there is the need for transporting materials to outposts during the winter months, as this is the preferred time for construction and repairs among camp owners. Pictured here is our Turbine Otter on skis at the Minaki Airstrip getting geared up for a winter flight.
The warmth of the sun in February and March allows us the opportunity to view wildlife "pairing up". These two lynx were spotted near Kettle Falls one sunny afternoon. Think Spring! Fishing season is just around the corner!
