December News
Welcome to the Halley's Camps December Newsletter. We hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving, and would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy holiday season. Merry Christmas!
Great Grandma Yvonne has celebrated her 85th birthday last month, and is still going strong! She is a fantastic woman, graced with a terrific sense of humour and many skills and gifts that she has passed down to her family. Even though she is shorter than all of us, we will never be bigger than Great Grandma.
Winter has finally arrived in Northwestern Ontario! We now have a nice layer of snow on the ground, and the temperatures are just cold enough to make ice on the lake. We have had a very successful hunting season this year, especially with the archery hunts. Below is a photo of a great afternoon on a whitetail deer hunt.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON PASSPORTS
As of January 23, 2007, all people entering or re-entering the United States by air will be required to show a passport or other accepted documentation. As of January 2008, this requirement will be extended to all modes of travel. Information on passports and travel documentation for U.S. citizens can be found at www.travel.state.gov. For more information on travel requirements to enter Canada, visit our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page, found in the links to the right.
Sport show season is just around the corner, and we have added a new sport show to our 2007 sport show run. This year, we will be at the Duluth Show from Feburary 14th to the 18th, located at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Click here to view a complete listing of all of the shows that Halley's Camps will be attending this winter. Below is a photo of Sharon at one such show, ready to answer all of your questions. Come on out and let's go fishing!
