Fly In Fishing BaseBased in the small town of Minaki, just 15 air miles south of the Canadian English River, is River Air — the heartbeat of Halley's Camps!

Our fleet of floatplanes provide scenic transportation to your fishing destination. Once there, you may wish to arrange a daily fly-in fishing trip for Lake Trout, Musky or Smallmouth Bass on one of the more than 30 outlying fishing lakes where we have cached boats and motors. A must do to complete your Canada fishing trip!

Cessna CaravanWe are particularily proud of our selection of seaplanes at River Air, which includes a Turbine Otter and an amphibious Cessna Caravan. To help make your travel plans easier, guests who are flying into Winnipeg International Airport, Fort Frances or Kenora Airport can be met right at their arrival point and flown directly into their destination on our amphibious Caravan.

Guests who are planning to have our Caravan meet them at Winnipeg International Airport or at Fort Frances are asked to book their commercial flights to arrive between the hours of 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. We have found that this time frame seems to work best. Please do not book arrivals past 3:00. As always, please be sure that your departure flight is not too early. Leave ample time for travel from your lodge or outpost to the airport as there are many factors to consider, such as morning fog! This is especially true for spring and fall trips. We would rather have plenty of leeway to get you to your destination than be pressed for time.
