This clear water lake gives anglers the opportunity to experience the adrenaline rush that comes from actually watching fish strike their bait. This is a smallmouth bass hot spot with more pound for pound excitement than you get with any other game fish.

The two bedroom cabin, constructed of squared logs, has all the amenities that any of our other outpost cabins have. It is fully equipped with propane kitchen appliances, hot and cold running water and a wood-fired heater. There is also solar power for the electric lights with a generator for backup. Three 14’ boats with 6 h.p. motors are waiting, equipped with swivel seats, landing nets, paddles, life vests, etc.

This cabin can accommodate up to 6 persons but is best suited for parties of 4.

In addition to fishing Moosehorn Lake, anglers have the opportunity to fish two portage lakes. A ten minute walk will take you to Trout Lake where there is a 14’ boat and 6 h.p. motor waiting to take you to fishing spots that will test your skills.

Pike Lake can be reached with a quick five minute walk. There is one boat and motor on this lake that will take you after those fighting northern pike.
