This is the perfect lake for a wilderness adventure with a group of family members or old buddies. Trapline Lake outpost consists of a very comfortable pine cabin with a large, airy dining room and bedrooms that will sleep up to 10 people. The porch is fully screened, so you can enjoy the evening air and sunsets.

Trapline Lake is a great walleye and northern pike lake. It’s also surrounded by easily accessed lakes with short portage trails. There are four satellite lakes in all, and we’ve put boats in each one for your exclusive use. If you’re up for a real wilderness adventure, you can explore a different lake every day. These are pristine, uninhabited lakes and you’ll be casting to fish that have never seen a lure before.

In Wilson Lake, which is just a 20 yard portage from Trapline Lake, you’ll have the opportunity to catch lake trout. These are a very special fish and delicious to eat. (Small ones taste best baked in tin foil with onions.) If you catch a large trout, and there are lots of them in the lake, you must handle it with care and release it.
